Trauma, Anxiety, and Bipolar Therapy in Fairfax

And Throughout the State of Virginia

Not Everything You Carry Is Yours to Keep.

Maybe you’ve spent years staying quiet to avoid conflict.
Or learned to keep it all together, even when it didn’t feel right.
Maybe you’ve had to choose between being true to yourself and meeting family or cultural expectations.

This isn’t about being overly sensitive.
It’s about carrying experiences that started long ago—sometimes before you even realized they were shaping your life.

You might be:
✔️ Tired of second-guessing yourself
✔️ Ready to stop repeating the same patterns in relationships
✔️ Wanting to make sense of where your anxiety, guilt, or inner critic really comes from

You don’t have to do it all alone or figure it out all at once.
Therapy can help you understand your story—and finally feel in control of it.

by a series of small

things brought together”.

Hello!

I’m Anabelle, a therapist who helps you make sense of your story—especially the parts shaped by trauma, relationships, and the expectations you’ve carried for far too long.

Maybe you’ve been navigating childhood trauma, cultural or religious pressures, or family dynamics that still affect how you show up in your life. Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, or the emotional ups and downs of bipolar disorder. You might feel stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand—but you’re ready for that to change.

Our time together will help you identify, understand, and grow from your moments where you feel stuck—whether they’re rooted in generational trauma, relationship struggles, or self-doubt. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface, with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment.

This is a space where you can feel safe to unpack it all. I don’t believe in quick fixes. What I do believe in is your ability to heal, and I’m here to help guide you through the messy, meaningful work of doing just that.

If you're ready to stop feeling stuck and start feeling more connected to who you truly are—we can begin from right where you are.

  • Anxiety can feel like being stuck in overdrive—constantly analyzing, preparing, and bracing for what might go wrong.

You might look calm on the outside but feel exhausted from the nonstop mental noise. I help clients untangle the roots of their anxiety—whether it’s from past trauma, cultural pressure, or years of people-pleasing—and build tools that actually stick.

Therapy isn’t just about coping; it’s about creating a life where you don’t feel ruled by fear or self-doubt. You deserve calm that feels real, not forced.

  • Trauma doesn’t always look like a single event—it can be the quiet, ongoing experiences that taught you to shrink, stay silent, or constantly anticipate others’ needs.

Whether it started in childhood, runs through generations, or was shaped by cultural and family dynamics, its impact is real—and lasting. I specialize in helping clients make sense of those layers, reconnect with themselves, and start feeling safe in their own lives again.

You’re not too much, too sensitive, or too late to heal. You just haven’t had the right space—yet.

  • Living with bipolar disorder can feel like a constant balancing act—managing highs that others don’t understand and lows that feel impossible to explain.

It’s more than mood swings; it’s the challenge of staying grounded while navigating a brain that moves fast and deep. I work with clients to better understand their patterns, strengthen stability, and create routines that actually support their lives—not just manage symptoms.

With the right support, you can build a life that feels steady, fulfilling, and fully yours. Diagnosis doesn’t define you—your insight and resilience do.

  • Navigating life between cultures can feel like you’re constantly code-switching—never fully “enough” in one space or the other. Whether it’s the pressure to succeed, the weight of expectations, or the quiet grief of feeling misunderstood, carrying a bi-cultural identity can be both a gift and a challenge.

I help clients explore who they are beyond the roles they've had to play—honoring their roots while making space for their own voice. You don’t have to keep choosing between parts of yourself. Therapy can be where you reclaim your wholeness.

  • Online therapy isn’t just convenient—it’s powerful. You get access to expert support without the stress of commuting, taking time off work, or sitting in an unfamiliar office. Whether you're at home, on your lunch break, or traveling, therapy fits into your life—not the other way around.

Sessions are private, flexible, and just as effective as in-person care, offering the same depth, connection, and transformation. Healing doesn’t have to wait—you can start from exactly where you are.
